Another month is here...Really?

Where oh where is the time going?  Before you know it, it will be 2012 and I will be saying happy new year again!!!! 

This past month has been such a crazy, busy but fun month!  I had the honor of co-hosting a baby shower at my house for our dear cousin Christine.  She is expecting a baby girl in November and I can't tell you how much that baby girl is already loved!!  Me and my sister in law Heather, along with two of the little one's aunts Francessca and Nicole, threw a party out of this world!!!  I did the decorating and my poor husband was sick of all the pink stuff being put up around the house.  That's why he went off with the guys and left us girls to have fun!  Heather made some yummy "real" food while Francessca made the most wonderful and cute sweets and Nicole made the favors for everyone to take the fun home with them.  It was so much fun being able to celebrate the new life coming into our family.  Gary and Christine are going to be wonderful parents!!  :)

Other than that, it has been the same old thing here at Haman Hallow.  Getting ready for my sissy's bridal shower this weekend and weddings galore next month!  One here in town (yea Amber and Brandon) and the other one back home (my "sissy" Katie and Jonathan).  I am already a wreck for Katie's wedding so I know I will be crying my eyes out on Oct. 15.  It just seems like yesterday she was born and now she is 21 and getting married!!  Boy am I getting old!  LOL!!!! 

Just a quick hello from me...hopefully I will post more later, but man am I getting sleepy!!!!  Nighty Night all!

Is it really August?

OMG!!!  I can't believe it is really August!!!  This year has flown by!  Not much has been happening here in Haman Hollow hence the lack of posts! 

Kevin finally finished and passed his professional teacher exam and as of yesterday is a continuing contract teacher for Brevard County!!!!  I am so proud and thankful that we made it!  With all the budget cuts, we were waiting the end of the past 3 school years to know if he had a job or not for the next school year.  We have been lucky, but unfortunately other members of our family has not been.  It all has worked out in the end and I know that it will this time for them too!!!!!!  :) 

I have been as stressed as ever at work but what's new about that?  I have realized that I really like my job but wish that it was A LOT less stressful!!!!  Hopefully next week will be a better week!

Bear is a little stinker as ever but I think he is adjusting to being home by himself all day again.  He probably is like "YEAH finally I have the place to myself again!!!!  Mommy is not home bugging me!!"  :) 

Haman Hollow is going to be getting all spiffed up in the next month!  The first ever Haman Hollow babyshower will be hosted here!  Can't wait to shower my dear cousin/friend/pal/sister Christine and help welcome their new addition to our family!  It will be a fun time for all!

That's all for now seeing my book and Project Runway is calling my name...thank goodness for DVR'S!!!

Almost Christmas

Well, it is almost Christmas and boy am I pooped!  My vacation has seemed to fly by as it always does!  I can't wait until tomorrow when my parents arrive into town and finally get to spend Christmas with my WHOLE family TOGETHER!!!  I pray that everyone has a wonderful Christmas.

Merry Christmas all!

Merry Christmas all!  I can't believe I have been so slacking on making a post here!!!  It has been a busy and emotional few months around Haman Hollow.  I've been getting used to the new bank and their way of doing things which has been very hard!  It's hard to know what to do when you just get ok, here's what we want done, you do it which of course when you figure it out it is not the right way to do it.  Me and my work family have done our best so hopefully we will get it down pat soon.

A week and half ago now Haman Hollow lost the guiding force of the family, my father in law. What a sad and emotional time it has been.  We know he is in a greater, most wonderful place, but its hard knowing he wont be around anymore.  :(  He does know have the best football seats to all his favorite games that any of us could ask for!!!  Thank you Dad for all the memories and love!  And for no funny busy during the FSU/UF game this past weekend!!!  

I hope to post more on the blog....sooner than later!  :)  If I don't before Christmas...A VERY MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU!!!!!

Oh boy!

Wow, I started this blog with the great idea of keeping up with it at least weekly...we see how well that happened!  LOL!!!!!  Hopefully I will do better, I promise!  Things have been really busy in Haman Hollow.  Kevin has been busy teaching his students and getting ready for the Bayside High Homecoming dance and festivities.  I'm sure he will be so happy when it it all over so he can breathe for a bit.  I'm so proud of my wonderful husband and the great job he does teaching! I have been busy at work getting things ready for next weekend when we finally convert to a new, bigger, and better bank!  I will be so glad when things are back in order at the bank and can just come home and relax.  But I must say the overtime is going to be great.  Well, that's my update for now.  Hope to post some pictures soon of all my sewing projects I have done with my new sewing machine that I got for my birthday in July.  Until then know my thoughts, prayers, and blessings go with you!  :)

Welcome everyone to Haman Hollow!  I've decided to add a new home in the vast web for us since Kevin forgot the sign on info for the other blog.  I hope to be able to share all the great and wonderful stuff that we do with you all here.  Please bear with me while I get everything up and going!!
